ROBERT J. HOGAN Co-Chairman |
Bob worked for nearly 10 years for Seattle First National Bank, Bank of America and All State Insurance Company in financial training and underwriting capacities. He has trained and consulted with thousands of bankers, business owners, and accountants throughout Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and the U.S on financial topics as they relate to small business owners. With over 25 years of banking and business management experience, he has co-authored two books on small business management, and wrote the "ABCs of Distributor Finance," for Exxon Mobil's distributor network.

JAMES R. DEVINE Co-Chairman |
Jim serves as a faculty chair at the Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Philadelphia and as faculty at the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University and the Graduate Banking School at the University of Wisconsin. Jim is the co-creator and lead faculty of the prestigious California Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and the Oregon Bankers Lending Institute. He also served ten years with Seattle First National Bank in the Trust and Business Advisory Services Departments. He has trained thousands of lenders, business owners and accountants across the U.S. and abroad. For more than 25 years, Jim has been active in managing, financing, and buying and selling closely held businesses and also previously served as CEO of two manufacturing businesses. |

SCOTT ALLEN SCHLANG

Scott Schlange joined Wells Fargo in 2005 and is currently a Vice President and Commercial Lending Area Manager with California Business Banking. Scott is currently managing a team of eleven Commercial Lending Officers in the San Fernando/Pacific Coast/LA Market. His team is a top producing, senior commercial lending team which he has led since 2012. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Scott was a Branch Manager at Washington Mutual Bank for four years and operated a small direct marketing business in Los Angeles. |

STEVE BERNSTEIN
|
Steve Bernstein is Executive Vice President of Wells Fargo’s Business Banking Division in Southern California. Bernstein is responsible for more than 185 Business Banking team members including 21 business banking managers across his division of San Diego, Imperial, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties serving California companies with annual revenues between $2 million and $20 million. Bernstein, a 13-year veteran of the company, was appointed to his current position in 2010.As a Division Manager, he oversees business banking offices in Corona, Ontario, Escondido, La Jolla, Rancho Mirage, Orange and Irvine.
Prior to his current role, Bernstein served as Region Area Manager for the Southern California Region.

ANDY EGLOFF |
Graduated from the University of Richmond in 1995 with a BA in Economics after spending a semester studying in London. Started an espresso stand in 1997 in Spokane, WA with a Small Business Loan. Expanded to a full bakery and coffee shop with an SBA loan in 2001. Sold business and started a Bed & Breakfast on Camano Island in 2005. Began working for Coastal Community Bank as a part-time teller in 2005. Became interested in commercial lending after being a small business owner and SBA borrower for 8 years. Graduated from Hipereon Commercial Lending School in 2007. Vice President and Commercial Lender for Coastal Community Bank in the North Puget Sound area since 2007. Experience in Construction Development, Working Capital financing, SBA financing, Business Acquisition and Succession, Tribal Lending and start-ups. |

EMMANUEL DANIEL |
Emmanuel Daniel is the founder and chairman of The Asian Banker. He is the passionate principal architect of this programme and author of the various research and evaluation methodologies used in retail banking, technology and bank profiling today. He is reputed to be one of the very few analysts with an in-depth understanding of the workings of a wide cross-section of emerging market banks. Emmanuel will anchor all the main case studies and benchmarking sessions, and help participants build their own internal benchmarking instincts from the models his team has developed. Participants will benefit from the hours of direct interviews and research material developed for this programme in all of the key areas. |
